This year's conference is truly exciting for two reasons. First, we will be meeting many IT educator- participants from other provinces in Mindanao. Second, we have many Mindanao-based resource speakers in this conference compared to the past. Of the 16 presentations, 11 or 69% are from Mindanao.
This trend is encouraging because majority of the speakers are now from Mindanao. Unlike the past events, only two to five speakers per conference were from Mindanao and the majority of the speakers are from Luzon. This development is an indicator that Mindanao-based IT educators are now ready to share their knowledge and researches from now on and in the coming events.
